Twelve by 12

These are the paintings I'm submitting to the Twelve by 12 show at ArtServe.
All pieces have to be no larger that 12" by 12", including frame. These are done
on wooden panels so no frame is needed and are already the right size. I did
one with the subject to the far right, one to the far left and one in the middle.
All are young men in my world...with my son in the middle. He plays Ultimate
Frisbee and this was from a photo taken at UPA Club Championships in 2008 in
Sarasota, FL.. Painting hair is one of my favorite parts of a portrait. This
one was fun, especially since the other two had little or no hair showing except
for the facial hair. All in all these were very rewarding and when I look at them
all lined up together it thrills me. I can see my progress and it fills me up with
gratitude.
